You can look up your medication on the internet and learn about it first.
Some medication I refuse to take. For example any medication that is advertised on television, except for aspirin, I cannot see myself taking.
Their long list of side effects and generalized warnings/endorsements make them sound like they are being promoted to potential test subjects.

meds.....I usually read the side effects and if they are worse than the thing the med is supposed to be correcting then NOWAY.....I have had LOTS of bad reactions from meds (ones that leave you crying on your bathroom floor with your heart doing the marathon with your blood pressure in 2nd place---where your family decides if they should call the ambulance now or in a few minutes).

so yeah azzer I'm with you on the drugs (I have one I must take) otherwise I find alternative medicine much better at conquering things like allergies.

I have allergies as well (when I had the scratch test done years ago they doc came back into my room after only 1/3 of the time had passed to see how I was doing---and by then my back was already one big puffy mass.....good news was I am not allergic to dogs

).....I suffered thru years of not wanting to leave my house (though my household allergies are just as bad----MOLD anyone???).....so after trying all the meds to no avail and then the alternatives ----dont eat this, try this diet etc.....finally my chiropractor suggested acupuncture.....I was a bit leary of having pins put in my like a voodoo doll, but after I got over it and went to see my chiro's friend....

I had to go a few times a week to start with, but after a month I was only going once a week.....then when I went to japan I only came home and went once a year (and since then I have only seen him 2ce ).....I also used to have chronic sinusitus (always had a sinus infection...or a cold...)...well I started seeing my accu in about 99 or so....and since I have been to him I have NOT had a sinus infection and my colds have all gone away after a week or so (instead of them never leaving).....I can breathe out of my nose ALL the time now and I feel much better....
most of my allergies are GONE (still have 3 pesky ones: mold, cats and cut grass---I work around 2 of them but my father-in-law has a cat as does my husbands sister......I try not to visit them often).

so azzer find yourself a good accupuncturist and try it---it will get your body back in sync with itself and you will feel better during allergy season.

ok aromatherapy then.....my massage therapist has that as well.....(or accuPRESSURE....).
just some ideas its better to get your 'chi' back in sync somehow---then go around with allergies and stuff.

and it is also found in the ancient records of india---its very old stuff.

but if you want to suffer go right ahead...they were just suggestions. stay inside and feel miserable due to allergies.
